D-I-Y Supplies: The NO-MORE Feeling Nervous & NO-MORE 'I'll Do It Later,'
1-HR Baby CPR & Choking Workshop Party
Get Ready For YOUR TURN Practice Sessions!
Are you ready to set up your DIY Supplies?
This video is taken from Lifesaving School For Parents (my online Infant & Child CPR & choking program), so it includes DIY supplies for a baby and a child. For your practice sessions you will ONLY require baby supplies. Below is a checklist of everything you need, along with pictures. You can ignore the reference to downloading the checklist pdf, as your checklist is outlined here:
Baby Mannequin: A Doll Or Stuff
Watch the explanation at this time code: 1 min and 21 secs.
AED Trainer
Watch the explanation at this time code: 3 min and 3 seconds.
The supplies you require include:
Tissue boxes (2), String, Tin Foil, Paper
You'll also need these craft supplies: tape, scissors, hole punch
For the labels, You can print the labels or if printing is not an option, simply write/draw what you see on the images, and attach accordingly. Click the bottom below...
Baby Heart Pumper
Watch the explanation at this time code: 6 min and 27 secs.
Heart pumpers will ONLY be used to practice chest compressions, so you need a heart pump in addition to a doll or stuffy.
The instructions are for a child heart pumper, but the same instructions apply for a baby, with smaller supplies. Here's what's required:
Small towels (2) e.g. hand towels, Small T-Shirt, 1 L Bottle, 3 Elastics
NOTE: Following the heart pumpers, there is a toilet paper roll demonstration. Heart pumpers are preferred but if not possible, then follow the instructions to make toilet paper mannequins.
Great job on setting up your supplies. And if you join Lifesaving School For Parents, you'll be ready to go!
Don't forget to bring your supplies (Doll/stuffy, AED Trainer & Heart Pumper) to the workshop party!
